Sponsorship Coordinator

Job Description

Sponsorship Coordinator is a full-time, entry-level position at Corcoran Expositions. Sponsorship Coordinators assist in the implementation of sponsorship programs for approximately a dozen of our nonprofit association clients' tradeshows. Examples of sponsorships include tote bags, lanyards, meal functions, signage, and other great opportunities for exhibitors at these tradeshows to gain additional exposure.

The role will involve supporting multiple client accounts across different industries simultaneously. Sponsorship Coordinators work primarily within the sponsorship management team but may also perform some duties for the sales team as assigned. Candidate must work comfortably in a highly detail-oriented role, as this person will support our sponsorship management team in developing each program.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assisting sponsors with customer service inquiries
  • Preparing sales reports
  • Creating and tracking e-mail marketing campaigns
  • Lead identification and generation
  • Database management
  • Travel on-site to provide support on the delivery of all promised sponsorship benefits
  • Work with the accounting team to invoice all sponsors
  • Collaborate with partner vendors
  • Communicate with sponsors via phone, google meets, email, and in-person meetings to organize receipt of logos and other required materials, as well as to keep them updated on important show information
  • Survey all sponsors to obtain their feedback for future expositions

The ideal candidate is an organized and energetic individual with excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude who enjoys interacting with new people and traveling. Sponsorship Coordinators must be able to multitask and manage their time effectively. This position requires a motivated self-starter who can anticipate potential issues and enjoys problem-solving.

Preferred

  • 0 to 2 years’ experience in the trade show, meetings, or events industry
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills
  • Effective communicator via phone and email
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Ability to work both as part of a team and independently
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Mac Operating System, and Google Suite
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel several times per year

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
