Job Title: Sponsorship Manager

Location: Based in Saudi Arabia (KSA) - Covering META Region

Contract Length: 12 months (January - December 2026)

The Team

Chesamel has a large team of marketing experts delivering on client projects across the globe, ranging from fully integrated and embedded consultancy to ad-hoc on demand project delivery. You will be joining a collective focused on delivering excellent client servicing while leading business transformation for our clients.


About The Role:

This role will be embedded within the Google Cloud MENA Marketing and Field Marketing organisation, owning sponsorship strategy and execution across priority regional markets. The Sponsorship Manager will act as the central point of ownership for evaluating sponsorship opportunities, defining value exchange, managing delivery, and ensuring measurable ROI across all sponsorship investments.

The role requires a strong blend of strategic judgement, commercial negotiation, and operational rigour. The successful candidate will be comfortable managing multiple sponsorship workstreams simultaneously, aligning senior stakeholders, and ensuring sponsorships directly support Google Cloud MENA business objectives. Must be based in Saudi Arabia.


Job Responsibilities:


Sponsorship Strategy & Portfolio Management (35%)

  • Own and evolve the Google Cloud MENA sponsorship portfolio across events, conferences, and strategic platforms
  • Evaluate inbound sponsorship opportunities and proactively identify high-value, strategically aligned opportunities
  • Maintain a holistic view of sponsorship activity across markets to avoid duplication and maximise impact
  • Align sponsorship investments to regional priorities, campaigns, and pipeline objectives


Value Exchange, Negotiation & Commercial Rigour (25%)

  • Define clear value exchange for each sponsorship (brand visibility, demand generation, executive engagement, content, data)
  • Negotiate sponsorship packages, tiers, deliverables, and pricing with organisers and partners
  • Ensure appropriate exclusivity, brand alignment, and contractual safeguards are in place
  • Partner closely with Finance and Procurement to ensure PO, SOW, and budget compliance


Activation, Delivery & Execution Management (20%)

  • Oversee end-to-end delivery of sponsorship activations including speaking slots, booths, branding, and content amplification
  • Coordinate speakers, agendas, timelines, and internal dependencies across marketing, sales, and comms teams
  • Identify delivery risks early and proactively manage mitigation plans


Measurement, Reporting & Optimisation (15%)

  • Define success metrics for each sponsorship, including ROI, leads, engagement, meetings, and pipeline impact
  • Deliver post-event reporting with insights, learnings, and recommendations
  • Inform decisions on sponsorship renewals, optimisation, or discontinuation based on performance


Cross-functional Alignment & Stakeholder Management (5%)

  • Build and sustain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across Marketing, Field, Sales, Finance, and Legal
  • Act as a clear point of escalation and decision-making for sponsorship-related activity
  • Ensure consistent messaging and strategic alignment across sponsorship initiatives


Essential Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience managing sponsorships, large-scale events, or strategic marketing partnerships
  • Strong commercial and negotiation capability
  • Experience managing senior stakeholders across cross-functional teams
  • Ability to operate strategically while maintaining strong executional oversight
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills


Desired Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience in B2B technology, Cloud, or Enterprise Marketing
  • Familiarity with MENA markets and regional cultural nuance
  • Experience working in agency, embedded, or matrixed environments
  • Data-led mindset with experience measuring marketing ROI
