What You’ll Do

  • Provide Sport Psychology Services: Deliver individual telehealth sessions to athletes and high-performers addressing their overall emotional and mental health, develop mental skills, and navigate performance challenges.
  • Deliver Mental Performance Coaching: Execute individual and team sessions on evidence-based mental skills training including confidence building, focus and attention control, pre-performance routines, imagery, and stress management.
  • Support the Whole Athlete: Address mental health concerns, identity development, transitions, and life balance alongside performance goals.
  • Innovate & Collaborate: Work alongside a dynamic team, sharing insights and strategies to continuously enhance our services and client outcomes.
  • Contribute to Practice Growth: Engage in team meetings, case consultation, blog post creation, and ongoing professional development as a valued member of our community.

What We’re Look For

  • Ph.D., PsyD, or LPC in Clinical or Counseling Psychology
  • Licensed Psychologist or LPC (or license-eligible) in the state of Pennsylvania
  • PSYPACT or Counseling Compact participant (or eligible) to provide telehealth services across participating states
  • Demonstrated experience working with athletes and/or sport organizations
  • Strong foundation in evidence-based mental skills training and performance psychology interventions
  • Commitment to client-centered, ethically grounded, culturally competent care
  • Collaborative team player who values consultation and shared learning
  • Comfort working in a fully virtual environment
  • Proficiency with telehealth platforms and standard practice management technology (Jane, Google Suite)
  • Personal experience in athletics at any level

Preferred Qualifications

These are nice-to-haves. We encourage you to apply even if you don’t check every box!

  • Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP)
  • Experience working with specific athletic populations (e.g., youth, collegiate, elite/professional athletes)
  • Background or advanced training in performance psychology, counseling sport psychology, or related specializations
  • Experience in a fully virtual setting
  • Familiarity with interdisciplinary sport science environments

Compensation

Competitive compensation with a flat rate per session based on experience, with opportunities for growth.
