Sports Annotation / Image & Video Analysis

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and sports-savvy individual to join our team as a Sports Annotation Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately labeling and tagging sports video footage or datasets to support machine learning models, content indexing, and performance analysis. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing sports broadcasting, coaching tools, and AI-driven sports platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Watch and analyze sports footage (e.g., football, cricket, basketball) to identify key events such as goals, fouls, passes, and player movements.
• Annotate video frames or datasets using specialized tools and software.
• Ensure high accuracy and consistency in labeling across different sports and formats.
• Collaborate with data scientists, developers, and sports analysts to refine annotation guidelines.
• Maintain documentation of annotation standards and update them as needed.
• Meet daily/weekly annotation targets and quality benchmarks.
• Provide feedback on tool usability and suggest improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of one or more sports (rules, gameplay, terminology).
• Experience with video annotation tools (e.g., CVAT, Labelbox, VGG Image Annotator) is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow structured guidelines.
• Basic understanding of data labeling and machine learning concepts is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good communication skills and team collaboration.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹1,000,000.00 per year
