About the Position

We’re looking for a passionate and driven individual who loves sports broadcasting and community engagement. This unique role in sports media offers the opportunity to be on the air representing our stations. If you enjoy play-by-play broadcasting, covering local events, and building relationships with the community, this position is for you!

Key Responsibilities

Sports Broadcasting & Reporting

• Cover local high school and college football, basketball, and baseball.
• Provide play-by-play and color commentary during live sports broadcasts.
• Plan monthly sports broadcasts and communicate across our team.
• Report from local meetings, events, and press conferences.
• Write and deliver sports updates, news stories, and interviews for on-air, digital, and mobile platforms.
• Help manage sports scheduling, coordination, and promotions.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience or enthusiasm for sports play-by-play broadcasting.
• Computer literate and comfortable with audio, digital, and mobile media technologies.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and community-focused mindset.
