Sports teacher

Job Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Sports Teacher to join our school’s faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality physical education lessons, promoting health and fitness, encouraging teamwork, and developing students' motor skills and physical competence across a range of sports and activities.

Key Responsibilities:

-Plan, deliver, and assess engaging physical education lessons aligned with the national or school curriculum.

-Teach a variety of sports, games, and physical activities appropriate to different age and skill levels.

-Promote physical fitness, healthy habits, and overall well-being among students.

-Organize and oversee school sports events, competitions, and extracurricular activities such as school teams or sports clubs.

Ensure student safety and maintain discipline during PE lessons and sports activities.

Qualifications and skills:
Required

-Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.

-Teaching certification/licensure (as per local educational authority requirements).

-Experience teaching physical education or coaching sports to children/teenagers.

-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

-Knowledge of health, fitness, and child development.

-Ability to inspire, motivate, and manage students.

Preferred:

-First Aid/CPR certification.

-Coaching certifications in specific sports (e.g., football, basketball, swimming, etc.).

-Experience organizing inter-school sports competitions or tournaments.
