Sports Teacher

Position Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Sports Teacher to join our educational team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive physical education curriculum that promotes physical fitness, healthy lifestyles, and a love for sports among students. This role involves teaching various sports, organizing school teams, and encouraging students to participate in physical activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging physical education lessons that cater to students of varying skill levels.
• Teach a variety of sports and physical activities, ensuring all students are actively involved and learning.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes teamwork, sportsmanship, and fair play.
• Organize and coach school sports teams, preparing them for competitions and matches.
• Plan and supervise extracurricular sports activities, events, and tournaments.
• Assess student performance, provide feedback, and maintain accurate records of progress.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during physical activities by following best practices and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate physical education with other aspects of the school curriculum.
• Promote a healthy lifestyle and educate students on the importance of regular physical activity.
• Maintain and manage sports equipment and facilities.

Qualifications:

• State-National Player/Coach is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or a related field.
• Teaching certification or relevant credentials.
• Proven experience as a Sports Teacher or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of various sports, physical activities, and fitness principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students of all ages and abilities.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience coaching school sports teams.
• Additional certifications or training in specific sports or fitness areas.

Work Environment:

• This position typically involves working in a school environment, including classrooms, gymnasiums, and outdoor sports fields.
• Occasional evening and weekend work may be required for sports events and competitions.
