Sports Videographer / Photographer (Basketball Events)

Job Description:

Scoutz is hiring a skilled basketball videographer/photographer to capture high-level content at major events across the country.

This role focuses on highlighting top players through:

• Action photos
• Short-form interviews
• Game clips for social media and scouting content

You’ll be creating content that helps players get recruited and builds the Scoutz brand.

What You’ll Do:

• Capture high-quality photos of top players (for scouting write-ups)
• Film game highlights and live action clips
• Shoot short-form interviews (reels style) with players
• Create content for Instagram, TikTok, and player profiles
• Identify and focus on standout players during games

Pay:

• $150–$300 per day (based on experience)
• Opportunity for ongoing work across multiple events

Requirements:

• Experience shooting basketball or live sports
• Own camera gear (DSLR/mirrorless)
• Able to capture both photo + video
• Strong understanding of basketball moments (timing, angles, plays)
• Comfortable directing players for quick interviews
• Fast turnaround (same-day or next-day preferred)

Bonus (Preferred):

• Experience with AAU / tournament coverage
• Editing skills (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut)
• Experience creating reels / short-form sports content

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $100.00 per day
