JOB TITLE: Fabricator - Spot Welder

REPORTING TO: Weld Lead

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Spot Welder to join our manufacturing team. The Spot Welder is responsible for operating spot welding equipment to assemble metal components according to specifications, quality standards, and production schedules. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment, and experience working with hand tools and manufacturing equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate spot welding machines and related equipment safely and efficiently
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production specifications
• Position and clamp parts together before welding
• Inspect welded components to ensure quality and accuracy standards are met
• Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance issues as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Meet daily production goals and deadlines
• Assist with other production duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous manufacturing or welding experience preferred
• Ability to read measuring tools and follow written instructions
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to lift up to 50 to 75 pounds
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

Preferred Skills

• Experience with spot welding or metal fabrication
• Familiarity with manufacturing safety standards
• Basic mechanical aptitude

Work Environment

• Manufacturing and production facility environment
• Exposure to heat, noise, and moving machinery
• Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
