Spread Room Operator

We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Spread Room Machine Operator in our Lancaster, Texas Spread Department. This individual is part of a team responsible for the daily production of spread, ensuring all finished product meets product quality.

General Responsibilities:

Operate equipment and machinery for the production and packaging of spread
Ensures all finished product meets product quality and integrity standards
Consistently monitor and maintain quality control standards and report results and any deviations to the supervisor
Assist with monitoring and managing inventory levels to meet production targets and ensure continuous production
Clean and sanitize production equipment and machinery
Perform all other job-related duties as needed.

Work Schedule + Benefits:

Full-time position, Hourly (non-exempt)
Starting Pay: $24.00- 26.00/HR DOE

The above represents the expected pay range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your experience and other job-related factors

Must be able to work the following shifts which will rotate on a monthly basis:
- 1st Shift: 5 am – 1:30 pm (Monday – Thursday)
- 2nd Shift: 1 pm – 9:30 pm (Monday – Thursday)
Department needs may call for weekend and holiday scheduling

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED
A minimum of one (1) year experience working in a meat facility, food processing plant, or similar warehouse experience (preferred)
Forklift certification (preferred)
Must be a self-starter and demonstrate a high degree of accuracy and thoroughness
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of management

Physical Demands/Requirements:

Ability to withstand prolonged work assignments in temperatures as low as 35 degrees Fahrenheit and stand for up to eight (10) hours on a continuous basis
Ability to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.
