SQA Automation Engineer

About You:

We are looking for an experienced and passionate SQA Automation Engineer to join our QA team.

The ideal candidate should be eager to learn new technologies, possess strong communication skills, and contribute meaningfully to challenging and impactful projects.

Responsibilities Include:

• Analyze test requirements and develop detailed test estimates, test plans, and test cases.
• Perform various types of testing including black box, grey box, stress, performance, and security testing.
• Collaborate with the development team to assist in debugging and analyzing software issues.
• Review software design and requirement documents to identify potential testing gaps.
• Contribute to the improvement of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Develop and maintain validation procedures, test documentation, and work instructions.
• Identify, log, and manage bugs through their full lifecycle using defect tracking tools.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 2/3 years of hands-on software testing experience.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with both white box and black box testing.
• Proficient in automated testing using tools such as JMeter, Cypress, and Selenium.
• Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, etc.).
• Ability to design, write, execute, and report manual test cases.
• Experience creating test cases for unit, integration, and system-level testing.
• Ability to produce technical documentation including user manuals, process flows, and checklists.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proactive in seeking clarification for unclear requirements.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
• Exposure to performance and security testing tools and techniques.

Preferred Qualification:

A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent is required.
