SQA Engineer

Summary:

Tapmad is looking for a detail-oriented and passionate SQA Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our digital products by performing thorough manual and automated testing of web applications and APIs. Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough manual testing, exploratory testing of web applications and APIs to identify bugs and defects issues across various platforms and browsers.
• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases on confluence.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs on Jira.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet specifications/features.
• Collaboration with internal teams (developers and product managers) to identify
• system requirements.
• Ability to work under pressure
• Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.
• Track quality assurance metrics
• Excellent Oral and written communication skills
• Implement efficient automation testing strategies to streamline the testing process and improve test coverage.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in test automation technologies,and implementing improvements as needed.

Requiremnets:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of hands-on experience with in-depth understanding of Software Quality Assurance and testing practices.
• Familiarity with QA tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, automation tools).
• Sound understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Functional and technical expertise in quality assurance processes.
