SQA Engineer

Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive SQA Engineer with 1 to 1.5 years of experience in manual and basic automation testing. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, a good understanding of the software development lifecycle, and the ability to ensure product quality through thorough testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
• Perform manual testing including functional, regression, sanity, and smoke testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA team members.
• Conduct API testing (Postman preferred).
• Assist in preparing test reports and ensuring testing deadlines are met.
• Contribute to improving QA processes and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 1 to 1.5 years of hands-on experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC & STLC.
• Experience with test case writing and bug reporting.
• Familiarity with API testing (Postman).
• Basic knowledge of automation (Selenium or similar) is a plus.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
