SQA Engineer(Remote)

AlignPX is a startup in Lahore that provides remote-based job opportunities with its main business office located in USA. We collaborate closely with our entrepreneurial clients to make exploratory and exciting projects in web, and e-commerce, especially in the shipping and logistics domain. Our goal is to provide a platform to implement business ideas fastly and with exceptional quality.

We have our development team across Pakistan. We are looking for someone to join our QA team. You will be working from your home. You must have a proper workplace at your home(Home office) with a strong internet connection. You will work 8 hours Monday to Friday with our team. Your responsibilities will range from planning and implementing testing frameworks for our products to developing automated test cases.

Primary Responsibilities

• Plan and implement a testing framework for our e-commerce-based products, and work continuously to improve our QA process
• Assist in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications
• Work with discipline leads to coordinate testing efforts
• Plan testing strategies, execute them, document bugs, prioritize them, and work with the product team to resolve them
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing of software applications to identify and report defects
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in software quality assurance.
• Collaborating with the development team to identify and report software defects, tracking their progress, and retesting fixes to ensure they have been resolved

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science / Engineering
• Minimum 2-3 years experience in QA or equivalent discipline
• Experience with e-commerce applications (WooCommerce, Shopify, Magento)
• Familiar with database and web, technologies and platforms
• Clear understanding of how different components in products function at code-level, including server, client, services, API etc.
