SQA Intern

We are seeking a detail-oriented SQA Intern to support our Quality Assurance team in ensuring high-quality software delivery. The intern will assist in testing web and/or mobile applications, documenting issues, and learning industry-standard QA practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in manual testing of web and mobile applications
• Create, execute, and maintain test cases and test scenarios
• Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA / Trello / ClickUp
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and UI testing
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to clarify requirements
• Verify bug fixes and ensure quality standards are met
• Help in preparing test reports and QA documentation

Requirements:

• Basic understanding of Software Testing concepts & SDLC/STLC
• Knowledge of manual testing techniques
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (JIRA preferred)
• Understanding of web applications and browsers
• Basic knowledge of API testing (Postman is a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Willingness to learn and take feedback positively
• Knowledge of automation testing basics (Selenium / Cypress / Playwright)
• Familiarity with SQL basics
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology
• Relevant coursework, certification, or QA projects
