Business Development & Sales
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within target markets.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue and growth targets.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and rate quotations to prospective clients.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements in alignment with company policies.
Account Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Monitor account performance, resolve issues promptly, and coordinate with operations and customer service teams.
- Conduct regular business reviews to assess client needs and identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
Market & Industry Knowledge
- Stay current with logistics market trends, freight rates, and competitive landscape.
- Provide feedback to management regarding customer needs, market changes, and product development opportunities.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, finance, customer service) to ensure seamless execution of client requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline using CRM tools.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, transportation, or supply chain sales.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Deep understanding of domestic and/or international logistics solutions (LTL, FTL, ocean, air, warehousing, etc.).
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
