Job Description – Senior Accountant (Service/Logistics Company)

Position: Senior Accountant

Experience Required: 4–5 years (Service/Logistics Industry preferred)

Working Hours: 10:30 AM – 8:00 PM

Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

* Core Accounting: Ledger posting, reconciliation, trial balance, finalization of accounts

* Taxation & Compliance: GST returns (GSTR), GST refunds, TDS, income tax compliance

* Banking & Remittances: Preparation of bank documents, handling inward/outward remittances, LC documentation, fund flow management

* Payroll & HR Support: Salary processing, PF/ESI compliance, employee reimbursement accounting

* Logistics/Service Operations Support:

* Verification of freight charges and logistics invoices

* Cost allocation for transportation and service projects

* Coordination with vendors, clients, and logistics partners for payment settlements

* Documentation: Export/service contracts, invoices, debit/credit notes, statutory records

* Reporting: Preparation of MIS reports, cash flow statements, and financial analysis for management

* Audit Support: Coordination with internal/external auditors, ensuring compliance with accounting standards

Required Skills & Qualifications:

* Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce/Accounting/Finance

* Strong knowledge of GST, GSTR filing, refunds, and compliance

* Experience in service/logistics company accounting and documentation

* Proficiency in Tally/ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software

* Analytical mindset with attention to detail

* Good communication skills for coordination with banks, auditors, and logistics partners
