Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Agrochemicals Purchase (Sourcing) Specialist to lead and manage the sourcing, vendor development, and procurement of agrochemical products and raw materials. The ideal candidate will have strong industry knowledge, negotiation skills, and the ability to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement aligned with company requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers for agrochemicals and raw materials.
• Conduct market research to assess price trends, availability, and quality standards.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with suppliers.
• Manage procurement planning to ensure the timely availability of materials.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and ensure quality compliance.
• Coordinate with production, R&D, and quality teams for material specifications.
• Analyse purchase data, prepare cost reports, and optimise sourcing strategies.
• Handle import sourcing, documentation, and vendor communication (if applicable).
• Resolve any supply chain issues or delays and ensure smooth procurement operations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate in Agriculture, Chemistry, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in agrochemical procurement/sourcing.
• Strong understanding of technical agrochemical products and market dynamics.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
• Ability to work under timelines with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
