Sr Aircraft Maint Tech

Gives work direction to a crew performing highly skilled specialized maintenance work on Company aircraft and associated support equipment used in the Aviation Department. Performs as a specialist in one of the following fields of aircraft maintenance: Machinist and Propeller, Hydraulic and Pneumatic, Sheet metal and Welding, Aircraft Power plant (Shops), Aircraft and Power plant (Line Crew), Aircraft Refinishing and Upholstery, or Aircraft Electrical Systems.

Maintenance Division is responsible for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and modification, per Company and U.S. FAA Regulations, of Aramco’s Aircraft, Aviation equipment and related ground support equipment, shop equipment and certain airport facilities. Such maintenance must be accomplished to consistently high standards, by manufacturer’s recommendations and to detailed and demanding FAA regulations. Work direct involvement of incumbent in sophisticated systems of the Company aircraft require knowledge and application of specialized techniques. Aramco fleet support high priority Executive, Drilling, Medical ,Safety, Government Relations, and other Aramco activities, The incumbent performs routine and non-routine assignments and gives work direction to small crew with limited supervision from Unit Foreman, primarily work coordination, scheduling and progress. Incumbent’s work is subject to FAA airworthiness inspection by Aviation Aircraft and Power plant Inspectors or Unit.

• Participate in maintenance checks of aircraft, functional checks and troubleshoot of hydraulics and pneumatics systems.

• Performs duties or assigns personnel when special skills are required. Performs overhauled of hydraulics unite associated with fleet aircraft systems

• Performs overhaul, rebuild, and repair of aircraft structure and fabricate of sheet metal parts per drawings. Performs functional checks and inspect accessories and unit turbo-propengines. Perform aircraft electrical system repairs, troubleshooting, and modification.

• Direct members of crew in crew performing highly skilled craft maintenance work , such as: Performs machinist work and build new or overhauled propellers per drawings and specifications

• Sews by hand or machine or assembles with special and other appropriate means of such items seats and seat covers and other aircraft interior items

• Conduct weekly safety and communication meetings. Serves as line crew to service, inspect, and repair aircraft system and engines. Do paint stripping as required to refreshing or corrosion inhibiting.

• Performs the duties of work director in directing and training of crew of 2-6 people in all phases of work

• Insure that completed work assignments meet established specifications and standards as quality and quantity by coordinating with Unit Foremen in a safe, timely, efficient and economical manner.

Special Field Experience Aircraft Maintenance

License from an ICAO recognized states, preferred to have GACA A&P Licenses
