Salary Range : $87,400 - $131,000 Annual

The stated pay range is based on a national-average location. Actual salary is determined by factors including relevant work experience, skills and location. This position is bonus eligible.

CNO Financial Group’s Direct to Consumer Division is hiring a Sr Business Analyst to support business partners and meet milestones on assigned moderately complex to complex business initiatives. This role will be responsible for identifying and documenting requirements for new system functionality, which includes guiding system upgrades or enhancements; performing determined process improvements and supporting product introductions; adhering to and advising on compliance requirements, correspondence enhancements, and system or process issue resolution.

As a Sr Business Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

  • Serving as the subject matter expert (SME) and interpreting insurance products, compliance requirements, and policy documents/correspondence.
  • Proactively driving work with assigned business partners to identify opportunities, assessing information from various sources, developing solutions, and taking action for optimal results, while collaborating to analyzing existing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and serving as a trusted advisor across the enterprise.
  • Gathering and interpreting relevant data and assists in presenting results. Providing input into recommendations in an unbiased manner.
  • Analyzing project requirements, assessing the actual and potential impacts on current systems and processes, and recommending appropriate actions.
  • Developing and delivering comprehensive business requirements for assigned projects and transferring knowledge to business team members to ensure a successful delivery, actively training and mentoring peers/business partners.
  • Managing the design, analysis, recommendation, and implementation for system or process changes.
  • Actively validating and monitoring deliverables to ensure projects deliver expected results.
  • Assessing and communicating issues and risks with associated mitigation plans to leadership.

The Sr Business Analyst position is well-suited for you if you:

  • Have solid knowledge and background in insurance products and sales systems, preferably in Life.
  • Are knowledgeable of the organization, its processes, and customer base to support process improvements, system enhancements, and product introductions.
  • Are analytical and have strong critical thinking skills to work through problems and get to a resolution.
  • Possess excellent requirements, elicitation and documentation skills.
  • Experience working on a cross-functional teams and training/mentoring others.
  • Hold outstanding time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and balance multiple priorities.
  • Analyze detailed technical information and large volumes of data and presents conclusions in concise non-technical terms to business partners.
  • Are an amazing communicator with superb listening skills.

What you’ll need:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or eight years of equivalent work experience.
  • Five years of work experience in a Business Analyst capacity.
  • Experience with Enrollment 123 platform.
  • Microsoft Office and other business-related software.

What will set you apart:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Attainment of one or more of the following certifications is preferred: Agile, Product Owner/Manager, Business Architect, ECBA, CCA, CCBA, CBAP, CBDA, AAC.
  • At least seven years’ work experience in a Business Analyst capacity.
  • Candidate location in Central or Eastern US time zone is preferred OR willingness to work Central or Eastern time zone business hours.
