Position Summary

Drive continuous improvement through process re-engineering, automation, and data analytics, leveraging emerging technologies to enhance efficiency and insight. Collaborate across all business functions including Finance, IT, Purchasing, and Operations to deliver impactful, scalable solutions. Ideal candidates bring a strong accounting foundation, sharp financial acumen, and an analytical mindset to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Essential Functions

• Partner with business leaders to streamline processes, improve productivity, and elevate the quality and impact of work across teams.
• Develop business cases and cost-benefit analyses to support data-driven decisions.
• Lead ad hoc projects focused on process optimization and automation.
• Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
• Create and update policies, procedures, and work instructions for new processes.
• Support implementation of new tools and systems, including testing and user training.
• Monitor post-implementation results to ensure solutions deliver expected value.
• Collaborate with IT to define functional requirements for process automation and system enhancement.
• Partner with FP&A and cross-functional teams to enhance financial metrics and reporting.

Qualifications (Education/Experience)

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or professional accounting designation, or equivalent combination of experience (including both industry and public accounting)
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar analyst role in a company of comparable size and complexity
• Multi-site manufacturing/ industrial, leveraged environment
• Transformation experience with a proven ability to improve processes and procedures
• Familiarity with standard cost accounting and plant controller experience in a batch manufacturing environment in a highly commoditized market is highly preferred (but not essential)
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to multi-task, mentor and develop talent
• Strong GAAP and financial reporting skills
• Strong ability to speak and write concisely and effectively and communicate in a timely fashion
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment
• SAP or comparable ERP experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs

FLSA Designation: This position is a Salaried Exempt and not eligible for overtime.

Work Location: Minneapolis, MN or Remote – travel expected less than 10%
