We are seeking a Sr. Cloud Engineer to join our team in Dallas, TX. This role is ideal for an AWS professional who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys mentoring peers, and wants to make an impact by building scalable and future-ready cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud solutions leveraging AWS services
• Build and maintain ETL processes to support data transformation and integration
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to deliver solutions in evolving scenarios
• Mentor and guide technologists on AWS best practices
• Contribute to system architecture discussions focused on scalability and growth
• Integrate AWS solutions with platforms such as Anaplan

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on AWS experience (Developer + Solutions Architect skills)
• Proficiency in Python and Java for development and automation
• Proven ETL building expertise (Extract, Transform, Load)
• Ability to mentor and guide teams in AWS best practices
• Comfortable working with ambiguous or evolving requirement.

Qualifications

• Aspirations or prior experience in System Architecture
• AWS to Anaplan integration experience
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to align with Southwest’s people-first culture
