Position: Sr Competitive Intelligence Analyst
Location: India
The Senior Competitive Intelligence Analyst is responsible for delivering sharp, actionable intelligence that helps Riverbed win competitive deals and position our platform effectively in the market. This role partners closely with Product Marketing, Sales, PM, and Executive leadership to synthesize market signals, analyze competitors, and translate insights into clear guidance for customer facing teams.
What you will do:
- Lead competitor analysis across top Digital Experience (DEX) vendors, synthesizing product capabilities, messaging, roadmap signals, pricing trends, and emerging risks.

Build actionable, sales-ready competitive battlecards, enablement training, and talk tracks that help sellers navigate live deal conversations.

Identify top objections, landmines, and deal stalling issues—and provide Riverbed POVs to neutralize them.

Partner with product teams to track feature gaps and opportunities that impact competitive positioning.

Develop side-by-side comparisons that emphasize outcomes and architectural differentiation, not feature checklists.

Monitor industry news, analyst publications, and competitive announcements to inform stakeholders quickly.

Build relationships with sales to capture competitive wins/loss and validate patterns.
What makes you an ideal candidate:
- 8+ years of experience in Product Marketing, CI, Analyst Relations, or adjacent fields.

Experience in DEX, DEM, AIOps or Observability preferred.

Skilled at applying AI technologies to gather, analyze, and summarize technical data, producing crisp, persuasive narratives.

Experience producing actionable CI deliverables such as battlecards, objection responses, and sales guidance.

High attention to detail, fast turnaround, and ability to take a firm Riverbed POV.

Excellent cross-functional communication skills, functional communication skills.

Experience with data analysis
