Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, automate, and maintain interactive dashboards and reporting solutions related to workforce analytics using Power BI.
- Extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple databases using SQL, focusing on performance, hiring, engagement, and workforce productivity metrics.
- Use Python for statistical analysis, automation, and advanced reporting.
- Design scalable data pipelines and models to support complex analysis and decision-making.
- Build and manage Excel-based reports with advanced formulas, pivot tables, and macros where required.
- Colllaborate with IT, data engineering, and business teams to ensure consistent data definitions, governance, and high data quality.
- Interpret data trends, patterns, and anomalies to generate business-oriented insights related to talent and workforce management.
- Work independently to define problem statements, create analytical solutions, and communicate findings to business stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in data analytics, reporting, or BI—preferably focused on HR or workforce data.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating relational databases.
- Strong hands-on experience in Power BI and creating DAX measures.
- Proven ability to analyze data using Python (pandas, numpy, matplotlib/seaborn).
- Advanced Excel skills with deep knowledge of data functions, lookups, and automation tools.
- Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and a passion for data storytelling.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical results to non-technical stakeholders
Good to Have:
- Experience with data modeling and ETL pipelines.
- Familiarity with HR-related data sources (e.g., employee databases, recruitment systems).
- Exposure to cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP for data services.
- Knowledge of workforce planning or predictive analytics in people data.
