Job Title: Senior Data Engineer (Snowflake)

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Snowflake, SQL, and Python across cloud platforms. You will play a key role in developing a robust data platform that supports analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making. The role involves working closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes on cloud platforms.
- Build and optimize Snowflake data warehouses, including performance tuning, cost optimization, and security best practices.
- Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries for analytics and reporting use cases.
- Use Python for data ingestion, transformation, automation, and orchestration tasks.
- Work with cloud storage and services across AWS (S3, Glue, Lambda), Azure (ADF, ADLS, Synapse), and GCP (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow).
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, security, and governance across pipelines and platforms.
- Monitor data pipelines and systems for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with data analysts, data scientists, and engineering teams to support analytics and AI/ML initiatives.
Required Skills :
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake (data modeling, performance optimization, security).
- Advanced SQL skills with experience handling large and complex datasets.
- Proficient in Python for data engineering and automation.
- Solid experience building and managing ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Good understanding of data modeling techniques (Star, Snowflake schema, dimensional modeling).
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
Good to Have :
- Exposure to AI/ML pipelines and analytics-driven use cases.
- Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow, Prefect, or similar.
- SnowPro Certified Professional or other relevant cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP).
