Sr. DevOps Engineer (Immediate Joiner)

*Job Description* : Senior DevOps Engineer/Lead

*Location:* Mumbai

*Job Type:* Full-Time, on-site

*Job Summary:*

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our

dynamic team and lead our DevOps initiatives. As a Senior DevOps Engineer/Lead, you will

be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the tools and processes that

enable agile software development and continuous delivery. You will work closely with

development, operations, and QA teams to streamline the development process, enhance

productivity, and ensure the reliability and scalability of our infrastructure.

*Key Responsibilities:*

• Design and implement secure automation solutions for development, testing, and

production environments.

• Manage and maintain CI/CD tools to accelerate software development and

deployment.

• Develop and maintain documentation for DevOps processes and systems.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure issues in development, test, and

production environments.

• Collaborate with software developers to streamline the development to deployment

process.

• Build and maintain tools for monitoring, notification, and analytics.

• Conduct system tests for security, performance, and availability.

• Develop and improve operational practices and procedures.

• Ensure critical resolution of system issues using the best cloud security solutions.

• Oversee periodic system audits and conduct preparedness drills for possible disaster

recovery actions.

*Qualifications:*

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Extensive experience in DevOps engineering and team management.

• Knowledge of debugging with programming languages such as Python, Java, or

similar.

• Proficiency in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Argo CD, or similar.

• Experience setting up code scanners such as Snyk & SonarQube.

• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry & ClickHouse implementation with monitoring tools

like Prometheus, Grafana, or similar.

• Strong understanding of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure

as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

• Experience with SSH, SFTP server, Tomcat (WAR), JAR deployments, and nginx.

• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to mentor and guide junior DevOps engineers/interns.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

*Preferred Skills:*

• Experience with microservices architecture and open-source software.

• Knowledge of network administration and cybersecurity best practices.

• Proficiency in the English language for documentation and communication.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
