Sr. DevOps Engineer – Release (AWS)

Job Responsibilities:

· Work on DevOps pipelines to support continuous delivery and continuous integration processes.

· Perform build/deploy activities for solution releases into Dev, Test, UAT, Staging and Production

· Support, maintain, and monitor internal and external applications on multiple platforms.

· Reverse engineer an existing production set-up in AWS and automating deployment processes for dev, test, qa environments.

· Experience deploying back-end services for mobile apps is preferred.

· Manage source control and version control, including DevOps with GitLab

· Implement CI/CD using pipeline setup/deployment in AWS cloud.

· Implement Dependency Management.

Professional Qualities/Skills

Technical Skills:

· DevOps pipelines with Dynamo DB's, Cognito Pools, S3 bucket, Pinpoint, OpenSearch, RDS DB , VPC and SecretManagers, lambda functions.

· Python is preferred

· Kubernetes (Helm, Linkerd, etc.) is a plus

· Terraform is a plus

· CI/CD (GitHub/GitLab)

· Kubernetes tooling (cert-manager, ArgoCD, Velero, Prometheus, etc.) is a plus.

· Cloud Native Experience, Networking Domain Expertise is a plus.

· Cloud Provisioning and Management (AWS preferred).

· TLS Certificate Management is a plus.

· Helm Charts for container deployment is a plus.
