Join Our Client Team as a Disaster Recovery Expert

We're seeking a Senior Disaster Recovery Analyst to lead our business continuity efforts and protect critical IT operations. In this high-impact role, you'll design and implement disaster recovery strategies that keep our business running smoothly, no matter what challenges arise.

What You'll Do

Build Resilient Systems

  • Develop, coordinate, and implement comprehensive IT disaster recovery plans
  • Lead DR plan testing exercises to ensure effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities
  • Create and maintain program documentation including policies, procedures, and training materials

Drive Continuity Planning

  • Partner with technology teams to develop and test disaster recovery plans for critical applications
  • Manage annual exercise schedules and ensure all applications meet program standards
  • Conduct annual plan reviews to maintain compliance and effectiveness

Assess Risk & Impact

  • Perform application impact analysis to identify critical systems and recovery requirements
  • Evaluate risks and potential business impacts of various disruption scenarios
  • Guide new applications through the disaster recovery program onboarding process

Lead Testing & Validation

  • Coordinate comprehensive annual testing schedules across all applications
  • Analyze test results and update plans based on findings and lessons learned

Educate & Empower Teams

  • Train plan owners on their roles, responsibilities, and best practices
  • Conduct workshops on disaster recovery plan development and execution

What You Bring

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in disaster recovery, business continuity, or IT contingency planning
  • Strong collaboration skills with ability to work effectively across all organizational levels
  • Experience with data management including loading, validation, and analysis
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and other business applications

Key Qualities

  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a global team
  • Practical experience with business continuity and IT disaster recovery planning
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $45,771.66 - $70,983.07 per year
