Sr. Electrical Design Engineer ( Grade A)

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer (Grade A) to lead and execute complex electrical design projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, reviewing, and supervising electrical systems for large-scale projects, ensuring compliance with international standards and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and low-current systems.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Review and approve electrical designs, shop drawings, and technical submittals.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (IEC, NEC, local authority requirements).
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, civil, and architectural engineers.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction and commissioning phases.
• Perform load calculations, short circuit analysis, voltage drop calculations, and protection coordination studies.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Mentor junior engineers and oversee their work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Grade A certification/approval from relevant authority .
• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in electrical design engineering.
