Sr. Electrical Engineer

Must have minimum 10+ years of overall experience and 5 years Experience in UAE as Electrical Engineer..

Currently available in UAE and able to join immediately.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (BE or B-Tech) in Electrical Engineering (required)

Required Skills

1. Core Technical & Engineering Skills

• Electrical System Design — LV, MV networks, SLDs, protection diagrams, load calculations.
• ELV Systems — Fire alarm, CCTV, access control, BMS interfaces.
• Electrical Materials & Products — Strong knowledge of cables, breakers, panels, earthing, lighting systems.
• Code & Standards Compliance — UAE Electrical Code, IEC, NFPA, BS standards.
• Design Review & Analysis — Reviewing shop drawings, technical submittals, and design reports.

2. Abu Dhabi Authority Knowledge (Critical Requirement)

• ADM Requirements — Municipality submissions, design approvals, inspections.
• ADDC / TAQA Compliance — Load approvals, meter installation, energization procedures.
• Civil Defense Electrical Requirements — Fire alarm interfaces, emergency power, life‑safety systems.
• Ability to attend authority inspections and secure final approvals.

3. Construction Supervision & Site Management

• Site Execution Oversight — Monitoring works for compliance with contract documents.
• Technical Submittal Review — Approving materials, shop drawings, RFIs.
• Testing & Commissioning — Start‑up, functional testing, energization, handover.
• MEP Coordination — Working with mechanical, ELV, and civil teams.
• Managing electrical inspectors and ensuring QA/QC compliance.

4. Project Management & Leadership

• Project Planning — Sequencing, scheduling, resource planning.
• Change Order & Claims Review — Evaluating variations and claims.
• Client & Consultant Coordination — Meetings, clarifications, approvals.
• Team Leadership — Guiding junior engineers, inspectors, and site teams.
• Ability to manage projects from concept to handover.

5. Documentation & Reporting

• Technical Reports — NCRs, inspection reports, testing reports.
• Contract Documentation — Tender documents, BOQs, specifications.
• Record Documentation — As‑built drawings, O&M manuals, logs.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office for reporting and analysis.

6. Software & Digital Skills

• AutoCAD — Reviewing and marking up drawings.
• Revit / BIM — Coordination and clash detection.
• MS Office — Advanced Excel for logs, schedules, and reports.

7. Soft Skills & Professional Behaviour

• Communication Skills — Clear reporting and technical explanation.
• Decision‑Making — Quick, informed site decisions.
• Problem Solving — Handling site issues and design conflicts.
• Negotiation Skills — With suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants.
