SR Electrical Estimator - Accubid

Qualifications

• 3+ years of electrical estimating experience
• Strong proficiency with Accubid orEquivalent
• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and specifications
• Knowledge of NEC requirements and commercial electrical construction methods
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PDF plan software
• Commercial, industrial, or light industrial estimating experience
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office

Williams Electric & HVAC is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our growing team in the DFW area. We are a commercial electrical contractor specializing in commercial, industrial, light industrial, and projects ranging from tenant finish-outs to multimillion-dollar facilities.

This is not an entry-level estimating position. We are looking for someone who can independently review plans and specifications, perform accurate takeoffs, build complete estimates in Accubid, and help us win profitable work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete electrical estimates using Accubid Anywhere
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from plans and specifications
• Review drawings, specifications, addenda, and bid documents
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations
• Identify scope gaps, conflicts, and value engineering opportunities
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as required
• Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and field personnel during estimate development
• Assist with design-build budgeting and conceptual estimates
• Prepare proposal letters, exclusions, clarifications, and scope summaries
• Maintain estimating databases, labor units, and pricing information
• Participate in project turnover meetings after award

Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
