Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Senior Maintenance Engineer with 5-8 years of comprehensive experience in electrical, mechanical, and utilities maintenance. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and efficiency of all facility systems and equipment while leading maintenance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance Operations
- Plan, execute, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for electrical, mechanical, and utility systems
- Conduct comprehensive equipment inspections, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for system failures
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules, procedures, and protocols to minimize downtime and extend equipment life
- Manage emergency repairs and coordinate with external contractors when specialized expertise is required
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, documentation, and equipment history logs
Technical Expertise
- Perform electrical maintenance including motor controls, power distribution systems, lighting systems, and instrumentation
- Execute mechanical maintenance on pumps, compressors, HVAC systems, conveyor systems, and industrial machinery
- Oversee utilities maintenance including water treatment systems, compressed air systems, steam systems, and waste management facilities
- Analyze system performance data and recommend improvements for efficiency and reliability
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry best practices
Leadership and Coordination
- Lead maintenance projects from planning through execution and completion
- Supervise and mentor junior maintenance technicians and apprentices
- Coordinate maintenance activities with production, operations, and other departments
- Participate in equipment procurement decisions and vendor evaluations
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean maintenance practices
Safety and Compliance
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with OSHA, environmental, and company safety standards
- Conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed
- Maintain lockout/tagout procedures and confined space protocols
- Participate in incident investigations and implement preventive measures
Required QualificationsEducation and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field, OR
- Associate degree with equivalent technical training and certifications
- 5-8 years of hands-on maintenance experience in electrical, mechanical, and utilities systems
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or commercial facility maintenance preferred
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems including motor controls, PLCs, variable frequency drives, and power distribution
- Proficiency in mechanical systems including pumps, motors,and conveyor systems
- Experience with utilities systems such as compressed air, steam, water treatment, and HVAC
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and P&ID diagrams
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with predictive maintenance technologies (vibration analysis, thermal imaging)
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
- Experience with building automation systems and energy management
- Familiarity with environmental compliance and waste management regulations

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
