Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join our Aftermarket Supply Chain & Operations team. This role will focus on improving product availability and reducing lead times for customers in the EMEA region. The ideal candidate will work closely with buyer to expedite backordered parts and update lead-time data to ensure accuracy and consistency across our systems.
Key Responsibilities
Expediting Assistance on Backordered Parts
Act as the primary point of contact with buyer to expedite parts into stock.
Monitor and manage open order line items, prioritizing critical backorders.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely communication and resolution of stock shortages.
Drive improvement in product throughput for EMEA Parts warehouse.
Lead-Time Analysis & Updates
Review and analyze current lead-time data in QAD and other systems.
Identify discrepancies and work with vendors to establish realistic lead-times with buyer.
Update system data to reflect accurate lead-times, reducing variability and improving planning accuracy.
Support initiatives to optimize planning time fences and stocking levels.
Performance Improvement
Contribute to reducing customer lead-times and improving service levels.
Provide regular reports on expedite progress and lead-time accuracy.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, supply chain management, Operations or related field.
5+ years of experience in warehouse management, material planner, supply chain, procurement, or vendor management (preferably in aftermarket parts).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems (QAD experience preferred) and MS Office tools.
Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and drive process improvements.
Preferred Skills
Experience in expediting and lead-time management.
Warehouse management and material planning.
Knowledge of EMEA supply chain dynamics.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment.
Problem-solving and decision-making
Collaboration and teamwork.
