Job Description
The Building / Facilities Senior Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining and supporting multiple office and warehouse facilities, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable day-to-day operations. This role focuses on hands-on maintenance, proactive facility monitoring, and troubleshooting building system issues across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general infrastructure.
Responsibilities

Conduct routine walkthroughs of facilities to assess building conditions and identify maintenance needs

Perform hands-on maintenance and repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general facility systems

Troubleshoot and resolve facility and equipment issues to minimize downtime

Support and execute preventive maintenance programs across all locations

Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs outside of scope, including obtaining and managing bids

Maintain warehouse infrastructure including dock doors, overhead doors, lighting, and ventilation systems

Monitor and respond to facility requests with urgency and accountability

Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and documentation

Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, safety procedures, and company policies
-
Support facility improvement projects, upgrades, and minor renovations

Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize reliance on external vendors
Qualifications
-
5+ years of experience in facilities, building, or industrial maintenance

Strong hands-on experience with HVAC systems

Working knowledge of boiler systems and basic electrical

Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues independently

Experience working in large or multi-site environments (warehouse, corporate facilities, schools, or utilities)

Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills

Ability to work independently with a high level of accountability and urgency

Requirements

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and pass pre-employment screenings

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in warehouse and facility environments

Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and access mechanical spaces

Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
