Position Overview

Kovalus offers comprehensive solutions for the most challenging applications in food and beverage, life science, and general industrial markets. Senior Financial Analyst, while reporting to the Manager of FP&A, is responsible for operational and functional financial, planning and analysis support for the Company’s global ~$250M business. www.kovalus.com

Responsibilities

Lead or support preparation of KPI’s, various daily/weekly/monthly operational dashboards, other reporting and analysis tools to enhance timely business decision making by senior management & functional leaders across all global locations.
Prepare and support weekly 13-week rolling global cash flow forecast.

Assisting with financial planning and budgeting processes, analyzing financial statements and reports.
Prepare and support weekly financial Flash Report distributed to investors, lenders and management.
Developing complex financial models, creating financial reports, forecasts, and budgets.
Performing impactful research and analysis on revenue, costs, cash flow and other financial areas as required.
Communicating financial information to management with concise and information analysis.

Qualifications:

~5-7 years of extensive financial, planning and analysis experience including with manufacturing firms.
Exceptional excel modeling and financial systems skills; Power BI dashboards experience preferred.
Strong accounting and financial acumen.
Highly disciplined individual with strong attention to detail and strict adherence to all deadlines.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency while maintaining accuracy in all financial reporting and analysis requirements.
Collaborative and proactive individual with demonstrated ability to interface with various cross-functional teams and manufacturing operations on a global basis.
Team player with high emotional intelligence and ability to work under pressure while multi-tasking and prioritizing various roles and responsibilities.
Demonstrated hands-on approach, willingness to do whatever is necessary to fulfill internal and external customers’ needs from an accounting and financial perspective.
Strong PowerPoint skills preferred.

Physical Requirements:

No significant physical requirements.
Able to walk up flights of stairs in and around Corporate Office or other locations.
Periodic air travel may be required to Company locations.
