Senior Front End Developer (JAMstack Expertise)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Front-End Developer with deep expertise in JAMstack architecture to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building fast, scalable, and secure web applications using modern front-end frameworks, static site generators, and headless CMS solutions. This role requires strong technical leadership, hands-on coding ability, and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance front-end applications using JAMstack principles (JavaScript, APIs, Markup).

Implement static site generators (e.g., Next.js, Gatsby, Nuxt.js) and integrate with headless CMS (e.g., Contentful, Sanity, Strapi).

Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and prototypes into responsive, accessible, and pixel-perfect interfaces.

Optimize applications for speed, scalability, SEO, and security

Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce best practices in front-end development.

Work closely with backend engineers to integrate APIs and microservices.

Stay updated with emerging front-end technologies and advocate for their adoption when appropriate.

Ensure cross-browser compatibility and adherence to accessibility standards (WCAG, ARIA).

Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy for front-end projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

5+ years of professional front-end development experience with at least 2+ years working on JAMstack projects.

Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).

Hands-on experience with Next.js, Gatsby, or Nuxt.js

Familiarity with headless CMS platforms (Contentful, Sanity, Strapi, Prismic).

Experience with static site deployment on platforms like Netlify, Vercel, or AWS Amplify.

Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture.

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and DevOps practices.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
