Sr. Full Stack Developer (Laravel + React)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full-Stack Developer with deep expertise in Laravel

(backend) and React (frontend) to design, develop, and maintain scalable, real-time web

applications. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling complex architectures,

writing clean and secure code, and leading technical decisions that ensure maintainability

and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop RESTful APIs and real-time features using Laravel and

WebSockets.

• Architect and implement frontend applications in React with TailwindCSS for

responsive, maintainable UI.

• Manage database design (MySQL/SQLite) and ensure data consistency across

real-time events.

• Integrate Laravel Sanctum or JWT authentication for secure API access.

• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Collaborate with designers and backend teams to translate UI/UX requirements into

technical solutions.

• Implement event broadcasting and state synchronization across multiple clients.

• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code following best practices.

• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and guide architectural decisions.

• Ensure adherence to security standards (CSRF, XSS, SQL injection prevention, etc.).

Technical Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Laravel (8/9/10) and PHP 8+.

• Hands-on experience with React (Hooks, Context API, or Redux).

• Experience with TailwindCSS for rapid UI development.

• In-depth knowledge of MySQL or SQLite schema design.

• Working knowledge of real-time communication via WebSockets (Pusher, Laravel

Echo, or BeyondCode).

• Familiarity with RESTful API design principles.

• Experience in frontend-backend integration (Axios, Fetch, or similar).

• Strong understanding of Git-based workflows.

• Proficient in error handling, validation, and exception management in Laravel.

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Excellent communication and documentation ability.

• Ability to work independently and make architectural decisions.

• Leadership mindset — mentoring, code reviewing, and improving team standards.

• Strong time management and task ownership.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Experience with Docker or Laravel Sail.

• Knowledge of queue systems (Redis, Horizon, etc.).

• Experience deploying applications on VPS or AWS.

• Familiarity with unit testing and CI/CD pipelines.
