Looking for well rounded, experienced, knowledgeable HR individual including ability to complete payroll biweekly with ADP. Ideal candidate will work two 4 hours a day M-Th (8 hours wk) either 8-12 or 11-3. This is to replace someone who will be retiring in January 2026 so there will be some time to transfer knowledge. This is a 1 person HR team but work very close with CEO and department leads.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in a human resource discipline, or business or public administration, desired.
- 5-8 years of direct human resource experience, preferable in recruitment, retention and payroll administration, and 3-5 years of additional relevant office experience is preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for talent acquisition process including recruitment, interviewing, reference checks, offers and on-boarding. Collaborates with Managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Oversite of the 401K program including quarterly open enrollment, processing 401K contributions per pay period, processing requests for distribution/rollovers and hardship withdraws.
- Oversite of the payroll process including time off requests and leave absences to make sure they are within the organizational policy and applicable State and Federal regulatory requirements.
- Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits and make recommendations to ensure we are competitive.
- Responsible for preparing information and meeting with external auditors.
- Responsible for the employee benefit processes under FMLA, COBRA, Short and Long Term Disability, and Workers Compensation, assuring compliance with documentation and notification requirements.
- Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations and investigations.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices to maintain compliance
