Sr. HR Officer - GS

Job Summary


To effectively carry out duties assigned in a timely, accurate manner.

Duties assigned can include any of the responsibilities like; manage the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems, and review and maintaining counselling policies and procedures.


Job Responsibilities


  • Manage various GS processes and make sure that it is completed in the agreed time with business units.
  • Review and follow-up residency activities (local transfer, tracking GS activities, cancellations, etc.)
  • Create expenditures reports and petty cash re-imbursement.
  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
  • Provide counselling on policies and procedures.
  • Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues.
  • Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements.
  • Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance.
  • To be an effective team player and contribute to the timely delivery of accurate ministries forms.
  • To ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions in the SAP and other GS systems
  • Making daily and weekly workload reports.
  • Tracking all GS activities and make sure meeting SLA with other BU’s.
  • Develop training and development programs.
  • Assist in performance management processes.
  • Create and implement effective on boarding plans

Candidate Requirements


  • Have a very good command in English (Written - Spoken - Read) / Fluent Arabic is a Must.
  • Experience 4-7 years.
  • Computer Skills: Software, Ms Windows, Ms Word, Ms Excel, Power Point, Internet and Outlook..
  • Knowledge of SAP (Preferred)
  • Must be reliable and dedicated and flexibility to work additional hours as business requirements dictate.
  • Willingness to accept additional assignments and can work under pressures
  • Proven experience as HR officer, administrator or other HR position
  • Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Arabic and English – Verbal & Written
  • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude & Strong ethics and reliability


Education


  • High School- BSc/BA in business administration is a plus
