Position Details

Job Title: Senior HR Executive – Payroll & Compliance
Location: Rajouri Garden, New Delhi
Work Mode: On-site (6 Days Working)
Experience: 4–5 Years Gender

Education: MBA in HR / Graduate or Postgraduate in HR / Relevant HR Certifications

Position Overview

Soni Sapphire is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior HR Executive – Payroll & Compliance to manage end-to-end HR operations with a strong focus on payroll processing, statutory compliance, and employee relations.

This role is ideal for an HR professional who can independently handle core HR functions, ensure legal compliance, manage grievances, and support business operations across retail stores. The position requires hands-on expertise in HRMS platforms such as Keka, HROne, Zoho, or similar systems, along with strong coordination and people management skills.

Key ResponsibilitiesPayroll & Compliance

  • Independently manage monthly payroll processing by validating attendance, leaves, and statutory inputs.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll execution in line with company policies and labour laws.
  • Handle statutory compliances including PF, ESI, PT, LWF, and other applicable regulations.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, consultants, and auditors for statutory filings and compliance audits.

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage complete recruitment lifecycle including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and final selection.
  • Utilize job portals, social media platforms, and internal referrals to attract suitable candidates.
  • Prepare and issue offer letters, appointment letters, and other recruitment documentation.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding, induction, and orientation of new employees.
  • Handle employee exits, full-and-final settlements, and related documentation.

HR Operations & Employee Relations

  • Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, and HRMS systems.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee grievances and resolve issues in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Draft, implement, and manage HR policies, SOPs, letters, notices, and internal communications.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and promote a positive and productive work culture.
  • Support HR operations across retail stores and act as a liaison between Head Office and store teams.
  • Guide and supervise junior HR team members to ensure smooth day-to-day HR functioning.

Requirements

  • Female HR professional with 4–5 years of relevant experience in payroll and compliance.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of payroll processing and statutory compliances.
  • Experience working on HRMS tools such as Keka, HROne, Zoho, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and grievance-handling skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and work independently.
  • Prior experience in retail, fashion, or lifestyle industry will be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR reporting.
