Position Overview

We are seeking a high-caliber Cybersecurity professional to serve as the primary focal point for Cyber Order management and compliance visualization at Hanscom AFB. This role is a critical intersection of technical operations and executive-level governance. The successful candidate will succeed a high-performing incumbent, stepping into a well-structured environment with a dedicated knowledge transfer period to ensure mission continuity.

This position is best suited for a candidate who understands the "why" behind Air Force Cyber Orders and possesses the data-visualization skills to brief senior leadership on the wing’s

security posture.

Core Responsibilities

• Cyber Order Management (CFP Lead): Act as the authoritative primary for the intake and execution of all Air Force cyber directives (TASKORDs, FRAGORDs, GENADMINs). You will assess the impact on Hanscom AFB and its GSUs, delegate actions, and track milestones through completion.
• Compliance Data Visualization: Transformation of raw technical data into executive insights. You will manage and evolve Power BI dashboards that aggregate findings from DISA CORA, ACC guidance, STIGs, and IAVM reports to provide real-time visibility into the base's security posture.
• Executive Communications: Lead the preparation and delivery of NIPRNet and SIPRNet leadership briefings. You will bridge the gap between technical teams (Vulnerability Management/Ops) and senior stakeholders, translating complex risk data into clear, actionable executive summaries.
• Mission Asset Coordination: Oversee the coordination of critical assets and outages. This includes supporting COMSEC/TACLANE accountability and serving as the MADDS Custodian to coordinate Authorized Service Interruptions (ASIs) without disrupting mission-critical operations.
• Governance & Audit Readiness: Maintain the "source of truth" for cybersecurity compliance. You will author Memorandums for Record (MFRs) and maintain an organized evidence library to ensure the wing is perpetually ready for inspections, audits, and command inquiries.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 8+ years of cybersecurity experience within the DoD or Federal environment. (4 additional years of experience may substitute for a Bachelor’s Degree).
• Technical Proficiency: * Deep understanding of the Air Force Cyber Order lifecycle .
• Familiarity with Active Directory (managing users, groups, and objects).
• Experience utilizing Power BI or similar tools for data normalization and visualization.
• Operational Knowledge: Working knowledge of DISA CORA, STIG findings, and IAVM status tracking.
• Certification: Active CompTIA Security+ CE (or higher).
• Clearance: Must hold an active Secret security clearance.

Preferred Skills

• Exceptional writing skills with experience drafting official Air Force MFRs.
• Ability to facilitate collaboration between disparate technical teams and leadership.
• Previous experience at the Communication Focal Point (CFP) level.
