SR Kitchen & Bath Cabinetry Designer / Interior Designer

Summit Design Center is a small Kitchen and Bath design showroom in Denver & Silverthorne CO. We are looking to add a Full time SR cabinetry / interior designer to our staff. We are looking for a detail oriented individual with excellent work ethics and the desire to learn many aspects of the job. We work hard at this company, but it is a positive work environment with opportunity to grow with our company.

This position will be based in Denver , but will be required to go to Silverthorne 2-3 days during the week.

Physical demands may include, but are not limited to, receiving orders (lifting up to 50lbs, moving and opening large boxes) either at showroom or jobsite.

Hourly / Salary DOE

Cabinetry Design

• Cabinetry designs with floorplans, elevations, and 3D Renderings - Generate digital cabinets design and layouts for clients to sign off and contractors to use for installation purposes using 2020 software
• Technical tile drawings with floorplans, elevations, and 3D Renderings -Generate accurate, to scale, digital tile drawings for clients to sign off and contractors to use for installation purposes using 2020 software
• K&B product sales on the showroom floor.
• Providing interior design services in-store and on location.
• Design, create, and sell inviting environments that represent client’s lifestyle, taste, and budgets
• Develop design factors based on client parameters such as budgets, design style, purpose and function.
• Keep up on new product knowledge by attending knowledge transfer sessions and industry conferences

Showroom

• Maintain displays in showroom
• Provide professional design consultation
• Drive top line sales
• Stay up to date on promotions and pricing
• Make sure price sheets are up to date
• Keep showroom organized and presentable
• Keep storeroom organized and workable
• General showroom operations and other tasks as needed

Goals

• Meet or exceed established sales goals set forth by management

Client & Vendor Relations

• Meet and greet clients
• Work with design clients
• Answer phones
• Client follow up as needed and directed by Ops Mngr
• Contractor & Vendor communications as needed and directed by Ops Mngr

Studio Designer Software

• Enter products and services into Studio Designer
• Create and enter Proposals
• Follow up on Proposals
• Create & Track Orders
• Create & Track Invoices
• Receive & Track Payments
• Validate/Correct Order Confirmations
• Track order shipments
• Receive orders and check them in either at the showroom or at the jobsite
• Track Project Timelines

Marketing – 4-6 hours/ month –many of these may be after normal business hours

• Attend mixers and other organized marketing opportunities ie: chamber mixers, SCBA meetings Etc
• Track marketing efforts through client interaction

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $43.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
