JOB SUMMARY
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing a wide array of litigation matters from inception through resolution. The successful candidate will possess a strong litigation background, demonstrating not only comprehensive legal analysis but also a strategic mindset and persuasive advocacy skills. In addition to technical expertise, strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will engage with colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage a caseload of complex commercial litigation matters from inception through trial
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
- Oversee a complex litigation cases from inception to resolution, including performing legal research and drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Collaborate with team members to craft and execute case strategies aimed at securing favorable outcomes.
- Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, and mediation with witness responsibility
- Review, analyze and summarize medical records, discovery document production, and other pertinent litigation related materials.
- Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, contracts, and settlement agreements with precision and clarity.
- Negotiate settlements and represent the company in court proceedings or alternative dispute resolution forums.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop litigation strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Maintain detailed case files and ensure compliance with all procedural requirements.
- Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients
QUALIFICATIONS
- Motivated and skilled Senior Litigation Attorney with 5 to 10 years of substantive litigation experience to directly handle a wide variety of litigation matters, including on the plaintiff and defense side.
- Previous experience in a law firm environment
- Ability to take and defend depositions
- A strong litigator with experience managing cases from inception through resolution or trial.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5 to 10 Years of Substantive Litigation Experience
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the State Bar of Texas and in good standing
- Litigation experience to directly handle a wide variety of litigation matters, including on the plaintiff and defense side.
- Previous experience in a law firm environment
- Ability to take and defend depositions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
EDUCATION
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE
- Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.

- Strong litigation skills, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and representing organization in court.
