Position :- Sr. Maintenance Executive

Location :- Nandasan, Gujarat

Timing :- 8 am to 6 pm (2 weekoff)

Experience:- 5 to 8 Year

Job Description:-

Role Objective:-

The Sr. Executive – Mechanical Maintenance is responsible for ensuring high mechanical reliability, maximum uptime, and safe operation of all production, utility, material handling, and support equipment through effective preventive maintenance, breakdown management, spare parts control, and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring uninterrupted and compliant plant operations.

Key Responsibility Areas :-

Preventive & Predictive Maintenance:-

• Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for production machines, utilities, MHEs (HPTs, stackers, forklifts), infrastructure and housekeeping equipment
• Monitor wear & tear of rotating equipment.
• Conduct predictive checks such as vibration analysis, alignment, and lubrication audits.
• Maintain PM checklists, service reports, and AMC compliance records.
• Ensure effective functioning of WTP (including RO), ETP & STP by monitoring operator activities.

Breakdown Management & Troubleshooting

• Attend and resolve mechanical breakdowns promptly.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective & preventive actions.
• Provide immediate mechanical support during critical production and hygiene-sensitive operations, especially wet process packaging and blending lines.
• Minimize downtime and prevent recurrence of breakdowns.

Spare Parts & Inventory Management

• Identify critical mechanical spares and ensure adequate stock availability.
• Coordinate with stores for issue/return and accurate inventory entries.
• Maintain updated spare parts lists, BOMs, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with purchase and vendors for timely procurement.

Safety, Compliance & Documentation

• Maintain equipment history cards, breakdown logs, maintenance reports, and incident records.
• Ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, safety standards, and internal audits.
• Maintain FAT, SAT, and installation documentation for new equipment.
• Ensure adherence to safety SOPs and zero unsafe mechanical practices.

Continuous Improvement & Projects

• Execute new machine installation, upgrades, automation and improvement projects.
• Prepare BOQs for new projects.
• Provide real-time updates on project status.
• Implement Kaizen initiatives for cost reduction, energy efficiency, and reliability improvement.

Coordination, Team Support & Training

• Coordinate mechanical support for installation, commissioning, and modifications.
• Support Production, QC, Utility, and Project teams with timely mechanical interventions.
• Supervise contractors and technicians for in-plant mechanical activities.
• Guide technicians on best maintenance practices.
