Sr Manager Quality Assurance / CASS

Take the lead on aviation quality and safety, while shaping our systems from scratch.

You’ll drive compliance and standards at the highest level, working closely with the FAA and key decision-makers.

This is your chance to build something exceptional. We are creating a new luxury airline concept, with our brand-new Private Class and bridge the gap between traditional first class and private aviation. You’ll join at the ground level, influencing how quality assurance and CASS are structured and delivered.

What you'll do

  • Monitor and ensure the airline's adherence to FAA regulations, company manuals, and industry best practices.
  • Act as the primary liaison with the FAA and other regulatory authorities, preparing and submitting required documentation, including Air Operator Certificate (AOC) renewals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of audits, inspections, CASS reviews, maintenance activities, and corrective actions for regulatory review.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports and recommendations for submission to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with operational departments to coordinate audit schedules and address compliance concerns.
  • Provide guidance and training to staff on quality, compliance standards, and records management to foster a culture of safety and accountability.
  • Analyze audit, operational, and CASS data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Propose and implement initiatives to enhance compliance, safety, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure proper records retention, organization, and retrieval processes in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct periodic audits of records systems to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to streamline records management and reduce redundancies.

What you'll need

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in aviation management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in quality assurance, compliance, or a related position within a Part 121 airline environment, including CASS oversight and records management.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Extensive understanding of 14 CFR Part 121, FAA regulations, and applicable industry standards.
  • Certifications: Certifications in Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001) or auditing (e.g., AS9100) are preferred.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in using Trax, ideally eMRO and eMobility.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report preparation and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in quality management software and tools, including those specific to CASS and records management.
  • Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to fostering a culture of safety and compliance.
