Sr. Manager Supply Chain

Job Summary

We are hiring an experienced Supply Chain Lead with strong exposure to Telecom Supply Chain Management, responsible for managing end-to-end SCM operations including procurement, sourcing, vendor management, inventory control, material planning, logistics, and cost optimization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in telecom infrastructure, network equipment, and large-scale vendor ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage overall SCM operations including procurement, sourcing, inventory management, material management, logistics, warehousing, and demand planning.
• Develop and implement strategic supply chain plans aligned with business and project requirements.
• Handle strategic procurement, RFQ/RFP processes, commercial evaluations, price benchmarking, and contract negotiations.
• Manage vendor onboarding, performance evaluation, SLA management, and cost negotiations.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives, supplier consolidation, and value engineering.
• Oversee inventory planning, stock optimization, material availability, and ageing control.
• Monitor slow-moving and obsolete inventory (SMI/OBI) and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure timely availability of telecom network equipment, fiber, active & passive components.
• Establish SCM SOPs, governance frameworks, and internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and commercial terms.
• Prepare and review MIS, dashboards, forecasts, and KPI reports for management.
• Lead and mentor SCM, procurement, and inventory teams.
• Collaborate with Projects, Engineering, Finance, Operations, and Planning teams.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term supply chain strategy.

Preferred Profile

• Must have experience in end-to-end SCM
• Mandatory exposure to Telecom / ISP / Network Infrastructure industry
• Strong vendor negotiation and leadership experience
• Experience handling high-value procurement and large vendor portfolios
