Role Overview:
As the Marketing Lead, you will be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing strategies to promote our publications across digital, Amazon, and institutional channels. You will lead a small team and collaborate with internal stakeholders (Sales, Editorial, Design), ensuring all marketing activities align with company goals and brand standards.
Key Responsibilities: Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and own the overall marketing strategy and calendar for Vibrant Publishers.
- Identify target audiences and create tailored marketing campaigns.
- Set and monitor KPIs for brand awareness, lead generation, conversion, and retention.
Campaign Management:
- Lead content marketing initiatives, including email campaigns, newsletters, blog content, social media, and influencer collaborations.
- Plan and execute paid ad campaigns (Google Ads, Amazon Ads, Meta, LinkedIn).
- Coordinate seasonal and title-specific promotions, especially for Amazon and direct-to-consumer channels.
Amazon & E-Commerce Marketing:
- Optimize product listings on Amazon (SEO, A+ content, keywords, visuals).
- Drive reviews, rankings, and traffic using internal tools and external agencies.
- Monitor sales reports and performance metrics on Amazon KDP, Seller Central, and other platforms.
Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor marketing executives, interns, or freelancers.
- Oversee the content, design, and execution of all marketing materials and campaigns.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Track ROI of campaigns using tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, and Amazon dashboards.
- Prepare monthly performance reports and present insights and recommendations to leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in marketing, preferably in publishing, e-commerce, or edtech sectors.
- Strong knowledge of Amazon marketing, SEO/SEM, email automation tools, and analytics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience managing a small team and collaborating cross-functionally.
- Creative mindset with a data-driven approach.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with publishing tools (KDP, IngramSpark) and Amazon Seller Central.
- Proficiency in design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Familiarity with PR/media outreach and event/webinar planning.
