Sr. Marketing Manager

Position Summary

ID TECH is seeking a strategic, hands-on marketing leader to drive demand generation, brand growth, and market leadership across our payment technology solutions. This role is ideal for a player-coach who thrives equally in developing strategy and rolling up their sleeves to execute. The Senior Manager/Director of Marketing will lead the development and execution of integrated marketing programs that accelerate revenue growth, strengthen brand positioning, and support sales objectives while mentoring and developing a high-performing marketing team.

Reporting to executive leadership, this individual will serve as both a strategic business partner and a hands-on marketing operator, capable of moving seamlessly between executive planning, campaign execution, analytics, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy aligned with company growth objectives, revenue targets, and market opportunities.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Product, Operations, and Executive Leadership to ensure marketing initiatives support business priorities.
  • Establish annual and quarterly marketing plans, budgets, KPIs, and performance benchmarks.
  • Identify emerging market trends, customer insights, and competitive opportunities to strengthen ID TECH's market position.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on marketing performance, customer engagement, and growth opportunities.

Demand Generation & Revenue Growth

  • Own and optimize the full marketing funnel, from awareness and lead generation through customer acquisition and retention.
  • Develop and execute integrated campaigns across digital, content, email, events, partner marketing, and ABM channels.
  • Collaborate with Sales to improve lead quality, conversion rates, pipeline velocity, and revenue attribution.
  • Continuously test, measure, and optimize campaign performance to maximize ROI.

Brand & Product Marketing

  • Lead brand positioning, messaging, and storytelling efforts to strengthen ID TECH's leadership in payment technology.
  • Develop compelling value propositions and go-to-market strategies for new products, solutions, and partnerships.
  • Ensure consistency across all customer-facing communications and marketing assets.
  • Support public relations, thought leadership, customer success stories, and industry events.

Player-Coach Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop marketing team members while fostering accountability, innovation, and professional growth.
  • Actively participate in campaign development, content creation, reporting, marketing operations, and execution as needed.
  • Build scalable marketing processes, systems, and workflows while maintaining a hands-on approach.
  • Balance strategic leadership with tactical execution, stepping in wherever necessary to drive results.

Marketing Operations & Analytics

  • Own marketing performance reporting, attribution, forecasting, and executive dashboards.
  • Leverage CRM and marketing automation platforms to improve lead management, customer journeys, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Analyze campaign, customer, and market data to generate actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Ensure alignment between marketing technology, reporting systems, and business objectives.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive marketing experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Experience within B2B technology, FinTech, payments, hardware, SaaS, or related industries preferred.
  • Proven success building and leading strategic marketing functions that drive measurable business growth, ideally within a high-growth or startup environment.
  • Strong expertise across the full marketing funnel, including brand strategy, demand generation, digital marketing, product marketing, content marketing, and marketing operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to serve as both a strategic leader and hands-on contributor ("player-coach").
  • Experience building, mentoring, and developing high-performing marketing teams.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business data into actionable growth strategies.
  • Strong understanding of marketing metrics, pipeline reporting, attribution models, and revenue marketing.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence executive leadership.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of execution.
  • Proficiency with marketing automation and CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce and Pardot.
  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • A strategic thinker with a bias toward action, accountability, and measurable results.

Success Measures

Within the first 3-6 months, this leader will be expected to:

  • Increase marketing-sourced and marketing-influenced pipeline.
  • Improve lead quality and conversion rates across the funnel.
  • Strengthen ID TECH's brand awareness and market presence.
  • Build scalable marketing programs and reporting infrastructure.
  • Develop a high-performing marketing team while maintaining hands-on involvement in execution.
  • Establish marketing as a measurable revenue-driving function within the organization
