Sr Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full-cycle execution of mechanical works for projects (HVAC, plumbing, drainage, ).
• Prepare project plans, schedules, budgets, and manpower allocation.
• Supervise site teams, engineers, foremen, and subcontractors to ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and internal teams for approvals and technical clarifications.
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
• Ensure installation and commissioning activities comply with project specifications and standards.
• Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and identify risk factors or delays.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and contractual obligations.
• Manage procurement, material delivery schedules, and subcontractor performance.
• Support testing & commissioning activities until project handover.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in Mechanical/MEP project management (UAE experience preferred).
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Proven experience in managing mid to large-scale construction/MEP projects.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong understanding of project planning, cost control, and contract management.
• Familiarity with UAE construction standards and regulations.
• PMP certification is a plus.
