Sr. MEP cost control engineer

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 13 years of total professional experience
• At least 5 years of UAE experience in Villa, Residential, and Commercial projects
• Strong exposure to the MEP contracting environment

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts
• Perform pre-contract and post-contract cost control activities
• Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate variation orders and claims
• Monitor project progress and ensure costs align with execution schedules
• Review subcontractor quotations, BOQs, and payment certifications
• Manage contractual matters in coordination with project and contracts teams
• Prepare monthly cost reports, financial statements, and management reports
• Maintain accurate documentation and records in line with company procedures
• Lead, mentor, and guide junior cost control and QS team members

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Quantity Surveying
• Professional certifications (preferred but not mandatory)

• Excellent communication and reporting abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Familiar with UAE construction standards and contract practices
• UAE Driving License is required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED13,000.00 per month
